(3) The corresponding author acknowledges that he/she takes complete responsibility for the content of the manuscript to be submitted.

(4) Authors have documented their respect for the human rights of research subjects and the social impacts of their manuscripts by describing their ethical considerations in the body of the manuscript.

(5) The manuscript consists of two PDF format files (cover letter and a manuscript), including tables and figures, or three PDF format files including other files.
|
|
(6) The cover letter includes a title followed by a running title, category, academic field, language, names of the authors, affiliation, location of the affiliation, corresponding author information (name, affiliation, telephone number, e-mail address) in both Japanese and English in a separate PDF format file from the manuscript.

(7) The manuscript is in one PDF format file in accordance with (9) and (10) below.

|
(8) The manuscript and cover letter are in separate PDF format files. There is no author information.
|
|
(9) The first page of the manuscript file contains a title followed by a running title, category, academic field, and language only.
|
|
(10) The second page of the manuscript file contains an abstract (keywords), and a body followed by acknowledgments, references, explanations of the tables and figures, and tables and figures begin on the third page.

|
(11) The number of English words in the abstract and the number of words used for keywords are in accordance with the Instructions for Submission of Manuscripts.
|
|
(12) The number of Japanese characters, page numbers, line numbers, and index number are in accordance with the Instructions for Submission of Manuscripts.
|
|
(13) References are in accordance with the Instructions for Submission of Manuscripts. (Abbreviations of journal names are confirmed.)
|
|
(14) Regardless of type and language of the manuscript, the abstract, tables and figures (including explanations) are proofread by a native speaker. (It is desirable to submit the Certificate of English Proofreading with the manuscript.)

|
(15) If submitting a Japanese manuscript and requesting translation into English for publication, a “ English Translation Agreement” is also attached to the manuscript.
